Refund Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This version applies to payments made on or after October 12, 2026. Earlier payments are assessed under the previous version.

Payments are non-refundable

EXCEPT AS DESCRIBED IN THIS POLICY OR REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED BILLING PERIODS.

Why. HeyCatch delivers its value the moment it runs. When you add your website, we immediately generate your core deliverables: the product brief, audience research, competitor research, site audit and action plan. Features such as video generation and Reddit/X analysis each consume paid AI compute and data retrieval the instant they execute. By the time a refund is requested, those resources have been spent irreversibly.

HeyCatch is also an automation product. Once your project is set up, it keeps working for you whether or not you log in. For example, it publishes scheduled and automatic posts to your connected accounts, generates content, ideas and reports automatically, runs monitoring and analysis, and collects analytics through your installed tracking code and connected accounts. This automated work runs on our infrastructure and consumes paid resources in every billing period in which it runs.

Accordingly, once any work has been performed for your project in a billing period, the fees for that period are treated as earned and are non-refundable, subject only to the “Always refunded” and “Statutory rights” sections below. “Work performed” means (a) anything generated or run at your request and (b) any automated work described above. Automated work counts even if you did not open HeyCatch during that period. To stop automated work, cancel the scheduled queue, disconnect your accounts or remove the tracking code. Cancelling your subscription stops it when your paid access ends.

You can cancel at any time (see below) — you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and no further charges are made. If your plan started with an introductory period and you don’t want the standard price, cancel before the introductory period ends; the introductory price, the standard renewal price and the renewal date are shown at checkout before you pay.

Always refunded

Time limit. A request under “Unused billing period” or “8-week plans: the unused half”, and any discretionary request, must reach us within 120 days of the date of the charge it concerns. After 120 days that charge is final. The limit does not apply to duplicate, erroneous or unauthorized charges, or where the law of your country or state gives you more time. Credit packs keep their own 14-day limit.

Credits

Statutory rights

Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable rights under the law of your country or state.

Discretionary refunds

Outside the cases above, you may still ask: email support@heycatch.ai from your account email with the subject “Refund” and a short description. We review requests in good faith, case by case (for example, billing mistakes or a service failure on our side), and aim to respond within 5 business days. A discretionary refund in one case doesn’t create an obligation in another.

What does not qualify. Except where the law provides otherwise, we do not refund for: change of mind or unmet expectations; dissatisfaction with the quality, style or usefulness of AI-generated outputs (briefs, audits, action plans, posts, videos); unused access or unused allowances within a period in which any work was performed, including automated work (other than the unused second half of an 8-week plan, see “Always refunded”); not logging in or not opening HeyCatch during a period in which automated work ran; unspent plan credits; credit packs from which any credit has been spent; purchased credits you choose not to use, including after cancelling; third-party platform restrictions, bans or content removals (for example on Reddit, X, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube); reduced reach, engagement or follower growth; or issues caused by your own content, instructions, accounts, devices or integrations. (An entirely unused billing period is different — see “Always refunded” above.)

Remedies. Where we decide a gesture is warranted, we may offer, at our choice, a full or partial refund, bonus credits, or an extension of your subscription.

How refunds are processed

HeyCatch, Inc. is the seller of record; Stripe processes the payment for us. Request a refund from us and we process approved refunds directly to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days.

A note on chargebacks

Before disputing a charge with your bank or PayPal, please email support@heycatch.ai — a refund from us (where warranted) is typically resolved in days, while a bank dispute takes weeks. If you believe a charge is unauthorized or mistaken, tell us and we will investigate and make it right. While a payment dispute is open, we may suspend the affected subscription; if the disputed charge is a credit pack, the credits from that pack are removed from your wallet while the dispute is open.

Cancellation

Cancel any time in account settings or the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not by itself trigger a refund, and it does not refund purchased credits, which stay in your wallet for when you reactivate. Deleting your account or uninstalling an app does not by itself cancel your subscription — cancel first, or email us and we’ll do it for you.

Termination for policy violations

If your account is terminated for a material, uncured violation of the Permitted Use Policy, fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable.
