Permitted Use Policy
· Part of the HeyCatch Terms of Service.
HeyCatch helps you grow your product — research, recommendations, and content you may publish on other platforms. This Policy exists to keep that activity honest and lawful. If you can’t follow it, don’t use HeyCatch.
1. You are the publisher
Anything you post, send or publish based on HeyCatch outputs is your content and your action. Review outputs before use. HeyCatch does not pre-approve, endorse or verify your published content.
2. Respect the platforms you use
When you use HeyCatch outputs on third-party platforms (e.g., Reddit, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Product Hunt, app stores, forums, email):
- Comply with each platform’s terms, community rules and rate limits. If a platform forbids an activity, this Policy forbids it too.
- No spam — no bulk unsolicited posting or messaging, no repetitive low-value content, no keyword-stuffed junk.
- No astroturfing or fake engagement — no fake accounts, sockpuppets, vote manipulation, purchased engagement, or pretending to be an unaffiliated user.
- Disclose commercial intent where required — follow the FTC endorsement rules and platform self-promotion rules; don’t disguise ads as organic opinion.
- No scraping in violation of platform terms, no bypassing technical restrictions, CAPTCHAs or access controls.
- You are responsible for keeping your connected accounts in good standing. Platform suspensions resulting from your activity are your responsibility.
3. Prohibited content and activity
You may not use the Services to create, publish or promote:
- unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or violent content;
- deceptive or fraudulent content (scams, fake reviews/testimonials, impersonation, phishing);
- content that infringes IP, privacy or publicity rights of others;
- deceptive claims about your product (fake metrics, fabricated social proof, misleading health/financial claims);
- malware, exploits, or instructions for wrongdoing;
- content involving minors’ exploitation, sexual services, weapons, or illegal drugs;
- political-influence operations or coordinated inauthentic behavior;
- processing of sensitive personal data of others without a lawful basis.
4. Technical misuse
No: probing or disrupting the Services; overwhelming our or partners’ infrastructure; automated account creation; sharing/reselling one subscription across organizations; using the Services to build or train a competing product; attempting to extract our prompts, models’ configuration or others’ data.
5. AI-specific rules
- Don’t present AI outputs as independent human opinion where that would be deceptive.
- Don’t use outputs to generate legally-consequential advice for third parties (legal, medical, financial) without qualified human review.
- Follow the usage policies of our model providers (see the current list in our Privacy Policy) — their restrictions flow through to your use of AI features.
6. Enforcement
We may warn, throttle, suspend or terminate accounts for violations, remove offending material from our systems, and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities and platforms. Where practicable we give notice and a chance to cure; for serious harm we act immediately. Fees for the current period are non-refundable on termination for a material, uncured violation (see the Refund Policy).
7. Reporting
Report suspected violations to support@heycatch.ai.
