X account health

Based on X’s open-source algorithm. Followers, following ratio, account age, posting rhythm, reply-to-post balance, verification and bio link set your daily limit, and it grows as your account does.

Built on X’s open algorithm

X publishes how its ranking works, so none of this is guesswork. Replies from an account with no history get filtered, and an account that pushes too hard too early gets locked.

HeyCatch audits your connected account and fits the day’s catches to what it can carry.

The score

Zero to ten, measured from facts: account age, followers, how active you are, whether you have Premium, and how your replies land. The same facts give the same score — it moves when your account moves, not when you ask it to. The target is 6.

Some things cannot be fixed with writing. Under 30 followers the score stays at 4 whatever else you change, and replies and a daily post are the way past it.

The numbers it reads

  • Followers.
  • Following, with the ratio between the two.
  • Account age.
  • Tweets in the last 30 days.
  • The balance between replies and posts.
  • Blue verification.
  • Whether the bio has a link.

An account registered in 2013 with 14 followers and one tweet a month is old and empty at the same time, and the numbers say so plainly.

The warm-up line

Four steps: Newcomer, Regular, Trusted, Insider. A pill beside the line says what today allows, for example three replies and one post a day with no links.

  • The first week is Newcomer, whatever the score.
  • Trusted opens at a score of 6 with no critical fixes left.
  • Insider opens at 30 days and 50 followers, with Premium or 300 followers.

Next to it sit the three things being counted: catches closed this week, the limit you are held at, and the score against its target. A line underneath says the one thing to do next.

Replies

Fresh tweets where your audience is already talking, each with a drafted reply that answers them. The daily number grows as you move along the line.

  • Never more than one reply to the same author in a week.
  • About an hour between replies, so the account does not look automated.
  • No links in replies until the account is Trusted.

Posts and product mentions

Tweet drafts for your niche open at Regular: one a day, two at Trusted, three at Insider, so the account never looks like it woke up selling.

Your product gets named in a reply from Trusted onward, and only once the account is 14 days old with 25 followers. Before that replies stay helpful, which is what earns the right to mention it later.

What the audit gives you back

  • Recommended fixes — concrete and ranked, such as rewriting the bio around the founder and the problem, or posting at least once a day.
  • Bio — what works, what hurts, and three rewrites to copy: founder-positioned, product-positioned, niche-anchored.
  • Pinned tweet — the highest-leverage fix for anyone landing on your profile, with three drafts: demo-driven, story-driven, hook-driven.
  • Deletion shortlist — the tweets to edit or remove, with the reason. It can come back empty, and that is a result too.

It re-checks itself

The account is re-measured every three days and the line moves on its own. About once a week, on every second check, the reply limit goes up by one if you closed at least half of your catches — the limit follows the work, not the calendar.

It can also go down. Lose more than ten percent of your followers in a week and the limits reset with a 48-hour pause. If X hides an established profile from search, catches stop until a check clears it. You can re-run the audit yourself after a fix; the previous score stays in the history.
