Short links

One short link per platform, like heycatch.ai/t for TikTok or heycatch.ai/i for Instagram. Yours live on your own domain. Each link opens your site with a hidden UTM tag, so the link stays short and you see which platform every visitor came from. A separate chart shows clicks by platform.

One link per channel

Every platform you post on gets a link of its own: one letter after your domain. TikTok is /t, Instagram is /i, Reddit is /r. Copy the one you need from the list and paste it where that channel lives.

They run on your own domain, not a shortener’s. A visitor sees your name in the link, and nothing breaks if a shortening service disappears.

The UTM is hidden

Each link opens your site with the tracking tag attached behind the scenes. Your analytics records which platform the visit came from; the link you actually paste stays fifteen characters long.

It matters more than it sounds. A bio link with a query string hanging off it reads as an ad, gets truncated in previews, and on some networks gets flagged. A short clean link does not.

Where to put them

The bio on each profile, the description under a video, a reply where a link is allowed, an email, a campaign. One link per place, and every click finds its way back to that place in the chart.

Links for anything else

The built-in platforms cover the networks you post on. For everything else — a newsletter, a partner, a launch page, one specific person you are talking to — add a custom link: give it a name, pick a free letter, and it joins the list.

Custom links can be deleted once the campaign is over. The platform links stay.

Clicks by platform

The chart above the list plots clicks per day, one line per platform. Hover a day and you get the total with the breakdown behind it. Click a platform in the legend to take it out and compare what is left.

This is the answer to the question that usually has no answer: not how many people saw you, but how many came.

Choosing the period

Seven, fourteen, thirty or ninety days, last week, last month, or an exact range from the calendar. Refresh pulls the newest clicks without reloading the page.

Thirty days is the honest window for distribution. A week is noise, and a quarter hides the week you changed something.

You shipped a product.
