Replies in your voice

HeyCatch studies how your competitors and the top voices in your niche reply, then writes in your voice. It learns from the replies and posts that worked for you.

Where the voice comes from

HeyCatch does not start from a blank page. Before it writes the first reply it reads:

  • How your competitors answer questions in the threads you are both in.
  • The accounts in your niche whose replies get answered.
  • The tone brief for each subreddit you target — how people there write when they are not selling anything.
  • Your own replies and posts, once a few have gone out, and which of them got a response.

Out of that it writes a first set of rules and shows them to you. All of them can be changed.

Do’s and don’ts

The voice is a list of rules in plain English, split into do’s and don’ts, up to ten of each.

Do’s are craft rules: answer the question first, keep replies under four sentences, give a number instead of a claim. Don’ts are hard limits: no links in the first reply, no hashtags, never call the product a game-changer.

Replies and posts are separate

A comment under someone else’s question and a post of your own are not written the same way. Each has its own do’s and don’ts, stacked on one screen so you can see both sets without switching.

One voice across three networks

The rules are shared by Reddit, X and Threads, so you write them once. Length and register are adjusted per room from the subreddit brief, and the tone picker on a single catch — soft-sell, direct, no mention — applies to that reply only.

Every generation uses it

The rules go into the prompt behind every reply and post HeyCatch writes, on all three networks. Change a rule and the next generation follows it; text that is already written stays as it is until you rewrite it.

Keeping it current

When a reply lands well, take the phrasing that did it and add it as a do. When replies start reading stiff, the cause is usually one rule that is too specific — remove it instead of adding another.

Ten is the cap on each list. When it is full, drop the weakest rule before you add a new one.
